It's a Dam
not really worth the drive rather warm this time of year. there are some stunning places, around Blenheim and this is not one of them
GOOD FOR PHOTOGRAPHY.
Taylor Dam is located on the outskirts of Blenheim and it is the largest earth flood protection structure in New Zealand and a popular Blenheim recreational reserve.

A lovely place to spend some time to relax and unwind. Bring a picnic and admire the wildlife. Has toilets and some swings but is a nature reserve rather than a family play area. We enjoyed walking by...
