Founded in 1936, the Boston Museum of Contemporary Art was originally a branch of the modern museum in New York, and later separated from MOMA and renamed it now ICA. If the art museum is mostly a classical oil painting with esoteric meaning, The Museum of Modern Art is easy to visit, and the exhibits are more familiar and friendly. The museum is located next to the harbor of Fan Pier, along the harbor, the sea breeze is slowly coming, and when you see the unique glass-shaped building, you will arrive at the Museum of Modern Art. Their home is also divided into permanent exhibitions and special exhibitions. Before visiting, you can check the current exhibition theme on the official website. The exhibits here are very open and avant-garde. There are many art works by Nan Goldin, Mona Hatoum, Cindy Sherman , etc.

The Contemporary Art Association, designed by Diller Scofidio+ Renfro, is located on the edge of the Fan Pier area in the southern port of Boston. It is the first new museum in Boston in a century and the first architectural project designed by DS+R in North America.
Contemporary Art Associations need to collect tickets, not cheap. Although I know half a thing about art, the art exhibition here is still very exciting. Although the tickets are small and expensive, they are worth the money.
Having slagged off an appalling exhibition at the Guggenheim in NYC on TA a couple of days ago, I found myself in Boston visiting the IcA. And what a total treat that turned out to be. I was surprised, I smiled and I laughed, which is what I expect from a good gallery or exhibition. Moreover, I participated in description-defying work by choreographer William Forsythe, entitled ''Choreographic Objects''. You''ll know what I mean when you visit, and you should. There was also some fantastic stuff from musician/artist Jason Moran, along with other works from the collection. Worth every penny. Recommended.
