It is a nice drive through state parks from Portland to Cannon beach. It is well known for the haystack rock. is the third largest magma stone in the world. Many seabirds and plants and animals grow near this boulder. The scenery is beautiful.
After the sea recedes, you can see the reflection of the sunset on the coast, and you can see this beautiful sight at any time in an hour and a half by car. The long rainy season has passed and the good times in Oregon are coming!
It's so beautiful, the blue sea and blue sky, the sand is not bad 😄
Seeing Portland's travel notes about Cannon Beach and Metu went there deliberately, bypassing the quiet town to reach a resort hotel parking lot, which is one of the entrances to the beach. Because the weather is cold, there are not many tourists, but the parking lot is almost full. It is said that there is a view of the sky similar to Bolivia, the sky is not beautiful, the wind is strong, and the waves are so strong that they barely imagine it on the beach after the waves. The rock in the shape of the dumpling sugar is a dot. Although I still wear down jacket, but the beach children are playing crazy with bare legs and arms, really amazing!
The beach was beautiful! The sand was nice and easy to walk on. I actually found some agates on the beach and a full sand dollar.
Be sure to go to the beach when it's sunny, because you'll find it like a mirror of the sky. The sunset world is famous here, and there are not many people on the beach, an hour and a half drive from downtown Portland. And you can also get a close encounter with the seagulls. There are also many restaurants in the annex, you can try the beer and coffee here, absolutely recommended!!
