Great theater.
This theater should be the main one in Cape Town city center. There are many performance posters, upcoming musicals, dramas and concerts, ballet performances and other messages. A large building contains many professional performance theatres, large and small, which shows that the artistic development of Cape Town is also very vigorous!

Magnificent Venue & Service
We went to watch Sound of Music and the show was amazing. There is ample parking under the artscape and very easy to navigate. If you have family members that walk slow or require assistance then arrive earlier as - depending where you park - it can take a while to get into the theatre. Great seating which was comfortable. Great acoustics - one of the best in the world and we have been to many shows. The artscape had 4 bars open which was great as you didnt wait long to order drinks. There are no hard spirits. Great to see that no eating or drinking is allowed in the theatre. There is a need to upgrade the look, aesthetics, seating & layout of the theatre.
