We enjoy walking on boardwalk (not really boardwalk) at Carlsbad beach. It's 3.5 miles down and back. Great way to get your exercise in, watching pelicans, surfer's, and ocean surf...The air so clean and refreshing in the wintry months. Parking can be tricky in the neighborhoods.
