Former Kwantung Army Command

The former site of the Kanto Army Command, a relic of imperialist invasion of China, is located at No. 47 Stalin Street, Changchun. It was built in 1933 and covers an area of 340,000 square meters. This is the supreme head office after Japan's occupation of the Northeast, and is the base camp of the invasion of China. Before the "9·18" incident, the Kanto Army was only more than 10,000 people stationed along the Nanman Railway. The former site is now the seat of the Jilin Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, and was announced as a provincial cultural relics protection unit in 1983.
