If you come to Alishan, don't miss the sea of clouds at the top of the gap 💕 "Eryanping Mountain Trail". At the parking lot of Alishan Highway about 53.5K, go up the bamboo forest trail and walk up the mountain for about 45-50 minutes. You can climb the mountain while enjoying the beauty of the mountains. Our children don't like climbing mountains, so from the "Four Seasons Starry Sky" B&B we live in, about a minute walk from the B&B parking lot, you can reach the Eryanping Trail. It was worth going to bed early in the morning, but finally saw the spectacular sunrise. I also took a small train. It is said that this narrow-rail train is rare. It is a little exciting when crossing the bend.

The sea of clouds at Alishan Gap is the highest point of Alishan. Standing here, you can see the small mountains and the beautiful scenery of Alishan. This is where the warm and humid air flows meet. There are often panoramic wonders of the sea of clouds, which are very magnificent, just like in a fairyland.

It took about an hour to drive up from Alishan Highway, and at about 3 pm, many people took a footstand to take pictures and wait for the sunset to fall, which was very beautiful.

Most of the seas of clouds in Alishan appear at sunrise and sunset, or when there is a cold front south or a strong cold current in autumn and winter, the probability of the sea of clouds appearing is higher. If Alishan in the rainy sky is not completely no good, but in the rainy day after the clear, it is easier to enjoy the choppy sea of clouds, spectacularly presented in front of you.
