A very artistic sculpture group, very suitable for taking pictures
Agora is a group of sculptures located south of Grant Park in Chicago, the work of Polish female sculptor Magdeline Abaconowitz (Magdalena Abakanowicz). Her work mostly uses the human torso as the main element. Agora, originally meant city square, was both political and commercial in ancient Greece. It is said that the city of Chicago rented from Poland. If you take the subway (red line, green line, orange line) to the museum area, get off at Roosevelt station, walk two streets east, you can see this work (continue east, go to the museum area). If you take the red line, Chinatown station and Roosevelt station, only 1 stop away.
The most striking sculpture in Grant Park between the tall buildings is the sculpture of 106 people walking without heads and arms. These 106 people have a penchant for getting together, and also have mavericks, in a hurry, in different directions. The work from the Polish sculptor's 2006 work "Gathering" is also the origin of the writer's subsequent 20,000 pedestrian modeling.
Many sculptures come from famous artists, and their artistic tension is extraordinary for peer reference and learning.
