My family loved the museum and we were looking for a museum focused on ancient Egypt. It was a great museum where you don’t feel very rushed or crowded. It was a great place.
A relatively deserted museum, but there are still a lot of exhibits.
It's awesome that the University of Chicago has its very own museum on campus! I've been there for classes and just for fun and it's always worth the short walk.
Head of a man - winged body of a bull. Wonderful and amazing treasures of egypt and mesopotamia. Pictured artifact is HUGE. Docents are FASCINATING.
