The Qishan Pingtian Lake Scenic Area

At the end of the Dragon Boat Festival holiday in 2023, I drove back to Shanghai and arrived in Chizhou for one night at 8 pm. The next morning, I went to the Qishan Pingtian Lake Scenic Area next to it. I didn't expect it to be an unexpected surprise trip. There are not many tourists and the play experience is very good. The scenic spot is free, you can drive in, there are some free parking lots in the scenic spot, the lake is light and the mountains are no less than the West Lake.

Just below Qishan on the edge of Chizhou City, the area is twice as large as the West Lake. The water quality is good and the scenery is very good! There is a lakeside road by the lake that can drive by itself, and it takes more than half an hour to drive in a circle. The Peninsula Hotel in the south is the best hotel in Chizhou and belongs to Jiuhuashan Tourism Group. There is a designated place to fish, which is good!

Qishan-Pingtian Lake Scenic Area is located in the urban area of Chizhou City, Anhui Province. The total planned area is 40.6 square kilometers, and the outer protected area is 19.4 square kilometers. It is a national 4A-level tourist scenic spot. It was approved to become a national scenic spot in March 2017. In 2014, it was CCTV named one of the "China's ten most beautiful moon-watching places". The scenic spot is connected to Jiuhua Holy Land in the south, and the Qiupu Wonderland in the west. It is facing the ancient city of Chizhou and Xinghua Village Scenic Area. The mountains, rivers, rivers and lakes are each other. Nature and culture are intersecting, and the characteristic landscape of Chizhou "the city is in the mountains and rivers, and the mountains and rivers are in the city".
