This Plaza Mayor needs to be experienced in person!
Looking at pictures of the Plaza Mayor on the internet doesn't give any idea of the ambience, the lively bars round the edges, the carillon, the general buzz. It's great.

Have to agree with the other reviewer it really is a shabby nondescript square - but I struggled to find anything worth looking at in this depressing city.

Not much to see..maybe the carillion?
