Nice Pit Stop
Pulled over to checkout the Lavender Pit on our way down to Naco. A quick stop but definitely pretty cool. Didn't spend much time here but certainly worth a look.
This is a short drive from town and worth seeing in conjunction with the Queen Mine Tour. Nice explanation of the various pits and how the excavation took place.
This was a big round hole with a blood colored lake at the bottom of it....we did not know What there is to do there but we saw no way down to the lake that we could see, maybe put better signgs up to...
Quick road stop. Read the signage, looked at the pit and back on the way. About 5 - 10 min stop. Our big question was : what are those 3 circular, unfinished buildings across the street?

Why not?
It’s a cool thing to see but then that is it. If you have a few extra minutes why not stop. It’s free so that is the best part about it.
