Buffalo Bill is a household name. This sounds strange, but it is actually the nickname of a man named William Friedrich Cody. At the beginning of the century, the development of American cities was largely concentrated in the eastern part of the United States, and people did not know much about the vast western part of the United States. To introduce the American West, Cody organized a performance called "Buffalo Bill West Tour", touring Europe and the United States in a city, to show people everywhere vividly the life of the American West.
