15-20 min hike to summit
lots of locals hiking here, some with dogs, but not many cars at the lot. so they probably come from the neighborhood leading to the trailhead. arrowleaf balsamroot are blooming in early may.
Always a beautiful view and great walk... We go every time we are in the area. The trail heads are easy to reach and so is the parking. Bonus being close to downtown for lunch afterwards!!
