Koifhus (Old Custom House)

The old customs building in Colmar, a beautiful building, has a momentum. The hall is now a small commodity market, and the other side is a restaurant. There is a fountain in the small square in front of the door. Children are playing in it. The surrounding shops and restaurants are crowded.

A beautiful house, especially its roof is different from other houses, is made of many colored bricks, this building was built in the 1580s and is very old.

The customs building is not much different in shape and scale from the houses facing the street around it if not carefully distinguished, but it still looks particularly delicate if carefully viewed, with a statue in front.

AncienneDouane The Old Customs Building is located at the southeast end of Marchan Street and is a well-preserved late-medieval historical building. There are exquisite fountains, pools and sculptures in front of the building. The roof tiles form neat and rhythmic mosaic patterns, and the clock tower clock still accurately reports time. It is a 15-minute walk from the train station.
