Paul and Chris (the owners) engrossed us with their abundant knowledge of the opal mining industry with humour and passion. The delicious homemade scones with jam and cream were the icing on the cake....
Amazing experience
This experience was fantastic value for money! We came with a 7yo and 3yo. While the adults listened to the information the kids loved being ‘real miners’ with uv torches finding opals to put in a bag...
Good tour for the family
Really interesting insight into how opal mines work and the scones and milkshake at the end of the tour was amazing!
Great for adults and kids
Excellent information and story telling by the guide Paul. Interacted really well with kids of all ages (and adults!). The catering and Opal Seller was a real bonus at the end.
Brilliant Tour
Excellent tour - Paul was informative as an ex miner , he had lots of humour, and great with kids. The scones after the tour were amazing
