It‘s a really beautiful place, ironic considering all of the ugly things that happened there. It struck me as I was walking in that the columns of trees on either side of me were spread out like angel‘s wings, it‘s an emotional place and you shouldn’t come here if your purely interested in “touristic activities“, it’s a serious place and the history there should be taken very seriously. Go prepared to let your emotions run freely.

Dachau, a city about 15 km northwest of Munich, offers a tour of the sites of the former Hitler concentration camp, the camp, the barracks, and the gas chambers. There is also a museum where photographs and exhibits explain past cruel acts. It doesn't make me feel better when I look at it. Rather, he is very tight and makes me feel painful. However, I think it is very meaningful to visit here to understand and remember what has happened in human history.
