Living in Dali for 3 years, I have been to the Erhai Ecological Corridor countless times, each time cycling around, this time I invited friends to walk and discover more scenery. If you want to relax and enjoy the Erhai Ecological Corridor, you can follow my walking route and see the beautiful scenery along the way. 【Erhai Ecological Corridor Walking Route】 Yangnan Creek - Erbin Village - Chongyi Village Easy walking time: half a day Recommended spots ①Yangnan Creek The starting point of the Erhai Ecological Corridor. At the entrance is a large pink romantic flower sea, not far from the redwood forest, the waterfront wooden plank road, the scenery is excellent. ②Dead tree in the sea A dead tree growing in Erhai, under the contrast of Erhai and the buildings, it feels lonely and atmospheric. ③Twin Indian Banyan Walking to a bend, you can see two lush and dependent Indian banyans from a distance, naturally forming a rest pavilion, it is very comfortable to sit under the tree. ④Chongyi Village Lawn Through the path of the fir forest, there is a lawn, the view is very open, you can directly view Cangshan. ⑤T-shaped plank road There are patches of redwoods by the sea, and there is a plank road leading to Erhai next to it. Across the sea is the city buildings, beautiful like a painting! tips： Walking consumes physical strength, prepare water and snacks in advance. Chongsheng Temple Three Pagodas: Chongsheng Temple is actually the Tianlong Temple in 'The Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils', with the ever-changing Cangshan Mountain to the west and the vast Erhai Lake to the east. It is a symbol of Dali. Dali Ancient City: Dali Ancient City, with the rippling Erhai Lake to the east and the evergreen Cangshan Mountain to the west, attracts many people day and night with its unique culture and landscape. Walking along the Erhai Ecological Corridor, I have collected several photo spots with redwoods and seagulls to share with you. There are also seagulls at this time, but not many 2️⃣Longkan Wharf The classic shot of people sitting on the stone with their backs to the redwoods that everyone often brushes is to wade through the water. It's very cold now and I gave up, but I found two shooting points that are also very good: One is in the forest in Figure 5, where the autumn colors are strong and the red and yellow leaves are particularly suitable for taking pictures. Figure 12 was also taken nearby, located in the redwood forest 5 minutes walk to the right of Longkan Wharf. If you can't find it, you can locate 'Limeng Han Costume Museum', which is on the edge of Erhai Lake opposite it One is Figure 3, which is a redwood I encountered on the way to the forest. The Haxi Ecological Corridor in Yunnan is part of the Erhai Ecological Corridor, located on the west bank of Erhai Lake, with a total length of about 46 kilometers. Vehicles other than bicycles are prohibited from entering. Inside the corridor, there are three modes of transportation to choose from: bicycles, shared electric scooters, and scenic area sightseeing vehicles. Departing from the ancient city of Dali, the first stop could be the Erhai Ecological Corridor towards Longkan Wharf. After parking at the Longkan Wharf parking lot, you can walk into the ecological corridor. The second stop is either Caicun Wharf or Panxi S-curve. If you choose the transportation within the scenic area, you can go directly to Caicun Wharf. All three spots are popular attractions along the Haxi line, with similar scenery, so you can choose according to personal preference. Then you can visit Xizhou Ancient Town, which is not very commercialized. The most famous feature here is the wheat waves blown by the wind from March to May, which is great for photography. If time allows, you can also visit Haise Park, where a famous check-in spot is the Husband and Wife Trees. It is recommended to return before sunset, as the temperature difference in Dali is quite large in the morning and evening.

Shijiazhuang - Kunming - Dali I made a lot of travel plans before finalizing the itinerary. I was very lucky to have almost no disappointments - sharing and recording my travel itinerary 🚥Transportation: We flew ✈️ to Kunming and went directly 🚘 to Dali on the same day (actually, the original plan was to take the high-speed train, but we missed it. The high-speed train would have been faster and cheaper) 🏠Accommodation: We stayed near the Dali ancient town. Inside the town, transportation is not convenient, so staying nearby is very nice. The prices are very good, 100+ per day can get you a very, very nice homestay. Since we arrived at night, we booked for three days and it still wasn't enough! The location is convenient for going anywhere~ 🗾Itinerary: On the first day, we chose to be in Haixi. Starting from Longkan Pier, we cycled along the coast 🚴🏻‍♀️. The two of us rode shared electric bikes. We did some research on this because you can't enter the ecological corridor with rented electric bikes. But the ecological corridor is worth visiting! So riding an electric bike is a better option 💰15/h. There are many parking spots. We passed all the scenic spots along the way, and the whole road is super beautiful! I kept exclaiming how beautiful it was, all the way to Xizhou. We took a tricycle to Xizhou Ancient Town. During the entire cycling trip, we stopped anytime to take photos and check in, which was particularly comfortable. ⚠️But everyone must, must pay attention to sun protection! If the sun is strong, you really can get sunburned! After strolling enough in Xizhou, you can take a bus directly back to the ancient town. In the evening, eat something near the ancient town and sleep beautifully~ On the second day, we chose to rent a Wuling Hongguang mini to go around the eastern part of the sea. The whole process was also along the coast. Renting a small electric car is what we think is the most cost-effective and comfortable way to travel. We could stop anytime to check in and then continue on our way~ 150km of battery life is completely enough. We went all the way to Shuanglang~ Then in the evening, we returned along the coast. The navigation was also very convenient. We drove while enjoying the seaside sunset ✌🏻The two-day itinerary basically ended like this. We could go to all the places we wanted to visit. On the third morning, we took the high-speed train/bus to Lijiang. We chose to 🚘 (because my boyfriend 💩 caused us to miss the high-speed train). I advise everyone to just go for it! You won't regret it once you go, and the cost of living is really not high ⚠️Remember! You must pay attention to sun protection! Definitely!

There are buses directly to Dali Ancient Town at the entrance of Dali Railway Station, 5 yuan/person, I don't know the specific departure time. I took the No. 4 bus, 3 yuan/person. Shared bicycles, 15 yuan for 15 minutes on the side of the Erhai Ecological Corridor, 1.5 yuan for every 15 minutes afterwards. I rented a bicycle from a villager to cycle around Erhai Lake: Rented for 2 days, cycling about 50-60 kilometers a day, stop and go, don't feel very tired, Route: Ride from Cai Village to Xizhou Ancient Town, Depart at 9:30, rest for 40 minutes for lunch, arrive at Xizhou at 2:40, a total of 5 hours. I also went south of Longkan Wharf, in my opinion, in this season, the scenery south of Longkan Wharf is not as good as north of Cai Village

The cycling path is spacious, with no motor vehicles, and although some popular spots like the Panxi S-curve can be crowded, most places are not. Every spot is scenic, and every corner is picture-perfect! Suggestions: 1. For those who are not driving, it's recommended to rent a shared bicycle near Cai Village Pier. It costs six cents per minute, with a 30 yuan deposit, and you can return the bike anywhere in the scenic area, which is quite convenient. 2. Remember to apply sunscreen when the sun is strong and the UV rays are intense. If you plan to take a taxi back, be aware that it's not easy to hail one at less popular spots. Cai Village Pier, Panxi S-curve, and Xizhou Ancient Town are places where it's relatively easy to find a taxi.
