Dalianwan Fort

Dalian Bay Fort is located on the mountain of Monk Island in Dalian Bay. The Dalian Bay Fort includes 5 sea defense forts and 1 land defense forts, which were built between 13 years (1887) and 19 years (1893) of the Qing Dynasty. The forts are all built with sand and cement, consisting of artillery positions, military buildings and bullet warehouses, surrounded by tall earth walls. 大连湾海防炮台，位于辽宁金县大连湾良种场东南三里许山顶。清政府在修建旅顺口要塞港口、船坞和沿岸炮台的同时，为巩固后路兼防金州城与大连湾而修筑。
