Getting There - Take the high speed train from Shanghai to Deqing. Around 200 RMB for 2 pax Attractions - Moganshan National Bamboo Forest and other outdoor activities (hiking, temples) Hotels - Emerald Whisper Hotel or other boutique hotels in nature (can be expensive depending on if you want to stay on the mountain or not). Food & Restaurants - Mostly Chinese local food, Old Station Coffee shop The Mogan bamboo forest is 115 RMB per person and includes a shuttle from the ticket office up the mountain to the scenic point. You can also choose to take another mini bus to drop you at selected locations inside the park at an additional cost (or you can walk in the nature). There are many other tourist sites to visit within Zheijing province but it is recommended to use a car to go from place to place or Didi (depending on how long you stay there). #nationalpark

If all you are looking for is a green scenery with fresh air, then Mogashan is the perfect place. this city has amazing trails for you to walk and enjoy the mountains, vegetation and beautiful bamboo forest. there are variety of hotel with great views. downtown is small and lovely with many coffee shops, souvenirs stores and Bars! in spring expect lots of flowers as you can see in my pictures. The sky has cleared, and the blue sky and white clouds set off the ancient castle buildings, which have a different style. Continue to the Dakeng Scenic Area, the view from the top of the mountain to the clouds sweeps away all fatigue, the continuous mountains change the wonderful depth of daylight due to the heavy clouds, which is very beautiful. Continue to hike, pass through the villa group, Luhua Dang, Jianchi Scenic Area, and come to the last downhill section. Due to continuous heavy rain, the mountain water rushing down from Jianchi winds through the bamboo forest, and many sections of the road are flooded, and the original mud road without steps is even more muddy. This holiday, I've put aside my work and packed various ingredients, planning to hide away in the mountains for a cool summer getaway~ When playing outdoors, it's not about how delicious the food is, but about enjoying nature and our exclusive outdoor moments~ But our friends really brought a pleasant surprise with lots of fruits, snacks, and drinks, creating a full-blown outdoor atmosphere~ I really love the streams of Moganshan, playing in the water there, The babbling brook, accompanied by the rustling sound of bamboo leaves, is so healing. At wildeat, it feels like all worries are left behind. Petting the dog with an empty mind is the best way to relax! 🚗Location: Xibei Village Bus Station, Moganshan tips: There are free parking spaces next to the bus station, and the stream is about 20 meters away by foot. Our camping table was set up on the dam, which can be a bit slippery, so be careful. It's not recommended to place it there when the water is high. The dam has a stone bridge underneath that leads directly to the bamboo forest. There are also snails by the stream, which can be a fun experience for kids.
