Our last visit was May 2019 (should have been back this spring/summer but Covid got in the way). I have to say I found it even more beautiful in autumn, the trees were amazing and the sunshine certainly helped. The accommodation as ever did not disappoint although we did stay in a lodge this time and it was really spacious, light and modern. Fishing was good first day but then struggled a little as did others although there must have only been about 10 people fishing on the whole site. I think the constant rain on the 2nd day kept away the fish and the fishermen. A great break and looking forward to a speedy return.
