Emirates Golf Club

The Emirates Golf Club is the home of the world-renowned Omega Dubai Desert Classic and the king of green spaces in the Middle East. The club has three golf courses: TheFaldo, Par3 and TheMajlis. Majlis, also known as the wonder of the desert, is the first grass golf course in the Middle East. Set against seven lakes, the par 72 golf course takes its name from the Arabic for "a place to meet." The Majlis building itself is also a highlight, located between the eighth and ninth holes, and has been one of Dubai's landmarks since 1988. The Faldo is a championship golf course. Redesigned in 2007, it features a natural river course that surrounds the golf course, with numerous trademark tee boxes and bunkers flanking the course. Both courses feature floodlit par 3s and are surrounded by a modern golf academy, driving range and a golf shop. However, golf is just the "tip of the iceberg" here. It is equally attractive to non-golfers as a full-fledged sports club, offering a variety of activities including swimming pool, gymnasium, squash, tennis and table tennis courts. Plus, there are plenty of culinary options, including the award-winning classic French restaurant LeClassique, the casual-inspired M'sRestaurant and SpikeBar, which are the soul and essence of the club.
