Phoenix Park

Be warned, to walk all the way through takes about an hour and there are no busses that stop in the park- they only drive through and stop either side, but the park itself is beautiful and easy to spend that much time wandering in, the deer are usually in the upper end of the park after the cricket field, there are a few food carts dotted around and also Dublin zoo located in the park

This morning (January 18, 2023) to Dublin Phoenix Park for a walk, see the beautiful scenery, near the lake is full of frost, you can imagine how cold the weather is, but it is really worth a visit.

Phoenix Park, located on the edge of the city, is a very large urban green space. The park has a history of more than 350 years and is the largest urban park in Western Europe. The presidential palace, Dublin Zoo and the residence of the US ambassador to Ireland are all located in this park. Although Dublin in June is still a bit cold, the temperature is similar to the spring in Shanghai, everything is revived, flowers are blooming, and the big white swan in the river is followed by a group of gray babies. Wonderful Park with various lovely plants and lots of animals like turtles, ponies and tropical birds. The prices in my opinion are great for what you get and it was surprisingly empty on a Sunday so we could relax and take everything in without feeling rushed.

Beautiful environment Phoenix Park, especially in autumn, green lawns, five-color leaves intersect, small squirrels and deer leisurely swim among them, and many runners. Not far from the National Zoo of Ireland, Phoenix Park is said to be the largest urban green space in Europe, and the zoo is also the first zoo in the world. Can't verify the true or false, but it is definitely a worthwhile trip.
