Crescent Pavilion

In the north foot of Mingsha Mountain, 5 kilometers southwest of Dunhuang City, Gansu Province, there is a desert, Dunhuang Mingsha Mountain, there is a different landscape. The lake is about 100 meters long, and the deepest is up to 5 meters. Because its lake surface is extremely shaped like a crescent moon, it is called Crescent Spring by the world, and it is listed as one of the "Dunhuang Eight Views".

In the arms of the sand mountain, the mysterious crescent spring blue waves ripple, after thousands of years without being buried by the yellow sand, creating a life and miracle. The epitaxial part of the crescent spring is close to the sand mountain, and the inner extension part is surrounded by ancient buildings. The east and west are located in two temple courtyards, which is the crescent spring temple group. This sand and water symbiosis wonder, it is worthy of the scenery outside the plug.

Crescent Pavilion is a pavilion building in the Crescent Spring Scenic Area of Mingsha Mountain, Dunhuang. It is located on the edge of Crescent Spring and is a cloister-style complex. Up the attic, you can overlook Crescent Spring and enjoy the panoramic view of Crescent Spring.

In the Mingsha Mountain Crescent Spring Scenic Area, there is a Crescent Lake next to the Crescent Spring. It is very small and you can visit it. There is a platform on it to take photos. It is still very good to see the entire Crescent Spring.

The huge beautiful Crescent Pavilion is located in the main building complex next to Crescent Spring. It is antique during the day and sells souvenirs. The lights are wonderful at night. Don't miss it at about 19-20 minutes! Very beautiful~

The Crescent Pavilion, named for its proximity to Crescent Spring, is a four-story six-sided all-wood structure building, which is imitated the Han and Tang style. Each floor of the pavilion has a corridor, no stairs, you can pick up the stairs and go up to the fourth floor. Each floor is currently sold with Dunhuang, Crescent Spring, Mingsha Mountain related souvenirs. I bought a set of wooden bookmarks here, which is quite exquisite, with Dunhuang tourism products' own label.
