#6 of Best Things to Do in Madrid
Statues/Sculptures
旅の径
The site of the Puerta del Sol, originally a gate facing the east on the 15th century Madrid wall, was named after the upper floor decorated with the pattern of the rising sun; in the continuous expansion of the city, the gate was demolished in 1570. The square, which was built, retained the name of "Puerta del Sol" and gradually became the center of the city. From the aerial aerial view, the 10 streets and alleys are radiant, like the rising sun and shining. In the center of the square, oval fountains on both sides of the east and west, surrounded by the statue of Carlos III sitting in the C position. The king, who built Madrid's vast infrastructure and was admired by the people of Madrid, rode a high-headed horse and sat smilingly watching the wind and clouds of the square and the changes of the city. On the south side is the most classic building in the square - the Security Bureau Building. The building built from 1766 to 1768 (the bell tower was built in 1867), the simple and bright style, the red and white facade, conveying the atmosphere of neoclassical palace architecture. The building was originally the central post office in Madrid, later the headquarters of the Franco-era Ministry of National Security, and is now the government office building in Madrid. For quite a while, the Spanish people loved the clock on the roof of the Security Bureau building, and regarded the clock as Spanish standard time, and it was honored to come here to watch. Today, people gather in the square to listen to the New Year bells of the building. On the north side, four slightly curved buildings lined up all the way, with stylish facades and white crystals; The top of the building is towering "TIO PEPE" (the world's first brand of sherry) advertising, exaggerated with elegance, cute cute. The ground of the street in front of the main entrance of the Security Bureau building is embedded with the road zero kilometers logo. Semicircular logo engraved with maps of Spain and the Iberian Peninsula and the words "0 km, road starting point". Spanish roads calculate miles from this point, Madrid streets prepare house numbers from this point. Without a shadow, the shoes underfoot have not set foot in Madrid.

A representative attraction of the country of fairy tales, an inconspicuous place by the sea, standing alone on the coast. There is no sign of note. Tourists from all over the world are punching in and taking pictures. The sculpture is smaller than expected.

The mouth of truth: This is a manhole cover from ancient Rome, found on the exterior wall of the church in 1632, and it is said that the hand is placed in her mouth, if lying can not pull out, in the film Roman Holiday is it scared the lovely princess. The church itself was built in the sixth century and is decorated with Byzantine mosaics. The mouth of truth is a marble carving, similar to the human face, with nose and eyes, and a large mouth, located on the porch of the Church of Our Lady of Rome, Greece, Italy. According to legend, if anyone doesn't tell the truth, it will bite his hand. Travelers who come here have reached into their mouths to try if their hands will be bitten. Traveling through the streets of Lisbon, you will occasionally encounter a variety of squares, the highest popularity index - Rosio Square. The southernmost Rosio Square on Liberty Avenue is the most bustling and noisy area in Lisbon. The square the size of the football field, the 27-meter-high statue of Pedro IV is located in the middle, towering sky, and the fountains at both ends of the north and south are splashing; the north-Magri II National Theatre is dignified and elegant, and the east-Lisbon Central Railway Station is magnificent; The pigeons strolling leisurely in groups, and the tourists who eat and eat are endless... The ground in Rosio Square is very interesting. In 1848, the square was re-paved and the black and white marble stone was used to form a "mosaic gravel road"; Wonderful and undulating picture, like the sea undulating and undulating, rushing forward... extremely shocking.

Broken But Not BrokenIn a city where the skies are fair,Stands a symbol, a broken chair,Not of weakness, but a tale of might,A beacon for those in the fight.Across the lands, we venture far,Guided by this guiding star,Traveling roads both rough and fair,Finding strength in what's laid bare.Though the leg is shattered, split,It carries tales where warriors sit,Of journeys marked by hope and grace,Resilience found in every place.Exploring realms, both old and new,With hearts so strong, and spirits true,We face the storms, the winds, the air,With courage like that broken chair. For in our quests, we often find,The broken pieces heal the mind,And through the trials, we declare,We're broken, but we're not despaired. So let us travel, near and far,Underneath the same bright star,With stories woven, in the air,Of journeys bold, like that chair. And though we stumble, though we break,It's in the mending, paths we make,Through lands of peace, and ones in care,We rise anew, from the broken chair.
