Liangzidao Ecological Scenic Spot

Liangzi Island Ecological Tourism Area is located in Liangzi Lake District, Ezhou City, at the junction of Wuhan, Huangshi, Ezhou and Xianning. It has convenient transportation, abundant sunshine and beautiful scenery. It is the back garden of Wuhan metropolitan area and is known as the "Water Town in Dreams" and "Penglai on Water".

Liangzi Lake is one of the ten famous lakes and the second largest freshwater lake in Hubei Province. It is the mother lake of Wuchang fish and the origin of Liangzi Lake hairy crabs. Liangzi Lake has a wide water area and clear water quality. The total area of ​​the lake is about 420,000 mu. It has the unique characteristics of being clear, spacious and beautiful, just like a clear emerald inlaid in the land of Jingchu.

The vast expanse of Liangzi Lake and the emerald Liangzi Island are located in the middle of Liangzi Lake. Liangzi Island, also known as Heyezhou, covers a total area of ​​about 2.2 square kilometers. The northern part is a leisure and ecological resort area with lush mountains and forests, overlapping islands and lakes, which makes people feel relaxed and happy; the southern part is the historical and cultural commercial area with numerous shops, simple folk customs and a variety of delicacies, which makes people linger.

Since 2020, Hubei Culture and Tourism Group has adhered to ecological priority and green development, and has promoted island renewal in an all-round and multi-path manner, upgrading Liangzi Island into a new island ecological tourism area, a Yangtze River protection demonstration site and an international leisure and resort island.
