The Temple of the Emperors of All Dynasties Attraction is located in the southwest of the Ming Zhongdu Imperial City and the north of Yunji Street. It consists of 27 individual buildings with a total construction area of ​​5,607 square meters. The overall architecture of the Attraction adopts the official architectural form of the Ming Dynasty, basically restoring the original appearance of the building, and decorating and exhibiting according to the architectural pattern. There are three exhibition areas: the restoration of the Temple of the Emperors of All Dynasties, the Ming Dynasty culture and the Taizu Hall, with an exhibition area of ​​1,711 square meters.

In the history of our country, the worship of emperors and sages of successive dynasties has a long history, but the joint temple worship began in the early Ming Dynasty. In the sixth year of Hongwu (1373), Zhu Yuanzhang issued an edict to build the Temple of Emperors of Successive Dynasties and offer sacrifices every spring and autumn. The Temple of Emperors of Successive Dynasties in Zhongdu of Ming Dynasty is not a religious place, and the objects of worship and sacrifice in it are not gods and Buddhas, but a place for worshiping the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors and the founding emperors of the Xia, Shang, Zhou, Han, Sui, Tang, Song and Yuan dynasties and the meritorious officials and generals of successive dynasties in the early Ming Dynasty. Zhu Yuanzhang built the Temple of Emperors of Successive Dynasties in Nanjing and Fengyang, but they have disappeared in the long river of history. At present, there are only two Temples of Emperors of Successive Dynasties in the country, one is the Temple of Emperors of Successive Dynasties in Beijing built during the Jiajing period after the Ming Dynasty moved its capital to Beijing, and the other is the Temple of Emperors of Successive Dynasties in Zhongdu of Ming Dynasty rebuilt in Fengyang.
