France's most beautiful small town, Chamonix. Chamonix, the host city of the first Winter Olympics, is a vibrant town known for its world-class skiing and mountaineering. It is located at the foot of Mont Blanc in the French Alps, close to the borders of Italy and Switzerland. The scenery here can be said to be the most magnificent for people in the French Alps. The huge and uneven mountain ranges tower over the small town, ancient glaciers spread to the bottom of the valley, and waterfalls pour down from the pine-covered mountain slopes. The main attraction that draws tourists to this picturesque town is Mont Blanc, the highest peak in Western Europe at an altitude of 4810 meters. Visitors can take the world's highest vertical cable car to reach the summit of Aiguille du Midi at an altitude of 3842 meters in just 20 minutes. Another popular attraction is the massive Mer de Glace glacier, which can be reached by taking the vintage Montenvers train.

The deep autumn of a Swiss town. Saying goodbye to the hustle and bustle and welcoming winter, the autumn here is just a slight change in color. The Alps, lakes, old wooden houses, castles, bell towers, these hardware are still there, just covered in snow color. Where there are sheep, there are shepherds, where there are roads, there are travelers, regardless of spring, summer, autumn and winter, what remains unchanged here is the local customs. The beautiful scenery where outsiders travel is indeed the daily life faced by the locals.

One of the many scenic spots in the Alps. The ordinary rural configuration, the traffic is not as convenient as the big cities, and the population is not large. It is because of this that the original ecological sense here is created. The towering mountains, blue lakes and grasslands are all tailor-made for the small town by nature. Regardless of whether the tourists are like a weaving, the locals still live a simple and traditional life, chopping wood and climbing mountains every day, taking care of the grandchildren and serving the hundred-year-old mother.

Allmendhubel is a small hill (1,932 meters above sea level) above Mürren, overlooking the Lauterbrunnen Valley in Bern. You can easily reach the top of the mountain by taking the Allmendhubelbahn cable car from Mürren, with an altitude of 1,907 meters. The restaurant is also located near the top. The Allmendhubel cable car departing from Mürren will take you up the mountain to 1907 meters in 4 minutes. Put aside your worries, admire one of the most stunning skylines in Switzerland, and let the children run wild among the giant flowers and oversized insects. Mürren is one of the towns with the richest landscape resources in the Alps. The town can directly overlook the Eiger, one of the "three north walls of the Alps", and overlook the Lauterbrunnen Valley, one of the largest nature reserves in Switzerland. It's simply a paradise. After the snow season ends completely in May each year, the Alps begin to become a brilliant stage for wild flowers and grasses. From alpine narcissus to iris, from saffron to alpine gentian, from primrose to forget-me-not, they bloom one by one into a flower blanket. In early July, alpine plants begin to compete for beauty. This grand occasion will continue until the end of the edelweiss blooming period in August, so summer is the best time to enjoy flowers and also the peak tourist season in Mürren. People flock to walk on the flower path in Mürren.

#tripaway #falensee fahlensee The Falensee (Falen Lake) is an incredible alpine lake situated next to the Bollenwees Mountain Hut in the Alpstein region of Appenzell. It can be an adventure in itself or part of several hikes nearby. The Bollenwees Mountain Hut, which is right next to the Falensee, is a great overnight stay and base camp for sunset and sunrise missions in the surrounding lakes and peaks.I visited the Falensee on two occasions. The first visit was part of the ‘Alpstein Three Lakes Hike‘ and the second occasion was at the end of the Hoher Kasten to Saxer Lucke Hike. However, you can also hike in from Brulisau just to stay overnight at Bollenwees and visit the Falensee. #tripaway
