Nice and big
Just before the old town, the castle is big and dominates the town near the harbour. Built by the Norman's, we couldn't visit inside because we were on a night tour but it definitely deserves a visit

The old Fort Gallipoli defends both toward the port and toward firm land as it was an island near the coast.
Roads and old stones
The island of Gallipoli is attached to the ground by a bridge that you will have to cross after finding a parking place in the new city.

very nice visit to this castle for a correct price 5 Euros with a very nice view of the top of the resorts to do if you pass through Galipolli
