From Gaoyou County, take the bus to the Gaoyou Canal No. 2 Bridge, and you will reach the ancient scenic spot of the Ming and Qing Canals. There is a visitor center on the side of the bridge. If you continue to walk south along the canal, you can reach the Zhenguo Temple Scenic Area (3 kilometers); Go north, the right is the old canal road (dry), and the left is the vast Gaoyou Lake. The ancient Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal in the Ming and Qing Dynasties of Gaoyou Section was once an integral part of the ancient trench, also known as the Li Canal, located outside the Gaoyou Lake embankment. After liberation, the canal was widened and a new canal was re-excavation outside the Li Canal embankment, forming a scene of two rivers and three embankments. After the old canal, the canal was abandoned and broken and even obliterated. During the process of the application of the Grand Canal, the old canal road was renovated and some sites were excavated. Six important heritage sites in Gaoyou were included in the world heritage site. The old canal road also rejuvenated, becoming a good place for people to relax and exercise along the route.
