He Xiangu Tourist Area

He Xiangu Scenic Spot, also known as Xiaolou Xianyuan, is one of the eight scenic spots in Zengcheng. It is located in Xiaolou Market, Xiaolou Town, Zengcheng District, Guangzhou. The scenic spot is a religious and cultural scenic spot with unique human resources and a long cultural history. It is the hometown of He Xiangu, one of the "Eight Immortals" of Chinese Taoism. He Xiangu's family temple was built in the Ming Dynasty and was repeatedly built due to wars. The family temple has a masonry platform-beam structure, and its front and vertical ridges are decorated with inverse warping. The front of the temple is engraved on the stone gate of the mountain: "He Xiangu's Temple", which was written by Huang Peifang, Jiaping, Jiaping, in the eighth year of Xianfeng. The second entrance of the temple is dedicated to the statue of He Xiangu. The statue of He Xiangu is made of camphor wood, about 70 centimeters high, dressed as a village girl in the Tang Dynasty. There are two major festivals in the family temple. Every year on the seventh day of the third month, Xiangu’s birthday; on the eighth day of the eighth lunar month, Xiangu becomes a fairy, and the incense in the temple is very strong. About 300 meters away from He Xiangu's house temple, the ancient vines of Panlong have a history of thousands of years. Without the head, where the Fuji root is still a mystery. The diameter of the branches of the ancient vine is about 150 cm in diameter, and the extension span is more than 30 meters. It is reported that the scientific name of ancient vine is "white flower vine", which is a rare plant in my country. Guteng blooms like snow in June, and bears fruit in August. During the flowering season, the fragrance is everywhere and the aroma is striking. From a distance, the ancient vine is like a white dragon, and its momentum is even more majestic.
