琶洲塔位于广东省广州市海珠区的琶洲(今新港东路),靠近珠江边。琶洲塔为明万历二十五年(1597)所建,名海鳌塔,因在琶洲,故称琶洲塔。琶洲塔为八角形楼阁式,青砖砌筑,外观9级,内分17层,高50余米。首层直径12.7米,边长4.95米,壁厚3.97米,辟3门,南北门进首层塔心室,西门原有砖砌梯级上二层(暗层)塔心室。梯级穿壁绕平座式,从第二层起,各层四面开门如十字巷纵横贯通,相邻两层相对错开辟门;其他各面无门而设龛为假门。塔身底脚有西方人形象的托塔力士石雕,粗壮有力,二层以上每层均有腰檐挑出。塔旁原有海鳌寺,久圯。塔在清代为羊城八景之一,名曰“琶洲砥柱”。
琶洲塔,话系历史建筑,从水博苑一直向里面行就会见到,过左个牌坊向上行,上山坡有几条路可以到塔下,不过入去又有个门口,测温加登记信息,门口挂左个穗康二维码,开始以为系景点通行码,专用个种,一扫原来就系穗康小程序而已,所以又要手写登记一次……如果想要登记访客信息打开申请穗康通行码,何必浪费人力纸张黎登记呢?而且,个琶洲塔都唔俾上去,登记入去只系睇外围而已。有d无语啊。
