Er'langshen Culture Relics Park

Erlangshen Cultural Relics Park is located at the mouth of Guanhe River, 4-5 kilometers north of Guannan County, where five rivers meet. It is said that Erlangshen in Journey to the West once guarded Guanjiang River (now Guanhe River), and the battle with Sun Wukong took place at the mouth of the river. The names of the scenic spots in the park are all related to Erlangshen. There is an Erlangshen Temple where you can burn incense and pray for blessings. The park is well greened, and with the beautiful waterscape, it is also a good place to take a walk in your spare time. The gate of the park is on County Road 207 in the east. After entering the gate and heading west, you will first see the Erlangshen Temple. From south to north along the central axis are the archway, the mountain gate, the drum tower and bell tower on both sides of the central axis, the offering hall, the stage, the Zhenjun Hall, and the sleeping hall. Among them, the Zhenjun Hall enshrines Erlangshen. To the west of the Zhenjun Hall is another group of buildings arranged in a north-south direction: the Reunion Palace, the Wenchang Hall, the God of Wealth Hall, and the Sanyuan Palace, which are places to pray for Wenchang's wealth, happiness, longevity and health. Go west past the Tuanyuan Palace and you will arrive at the Cixiao Pavilion, the tallest building in the park. Climb up the Cixiao Pavilion and look west to overlook the confluence of five rivers, which is very impressive. The octagonal platform to the west of the Cixiao Pavilion is the Zhanjiao Platform, named after the story of "Erlang crossed the river and killed the dragon to make his hometown". There is a large lake to the north of the Erlang Temple. The best place to see the water view is on the winding corridor on the north side of the lake. Willows on the shore brush against the water, the lake reflects the green trees and red flowers, and the breeze blows, making people feel relaxed and happy.
