Cherry Blossom Monorail Hwadam Forest Tips.zip🌸 The cherry blossom spots seen from the monorail, Hwadam Forest🫶🏻 As of 24.04.11, the cherry blossoms were almost 100% in full bloom🩷 Below are all the tips related to Hwadam Forest, so make sure to check them out next year!!🌸 ✅Reservation You can make a reservation on the Hwadam Forest website (it's relatively easy to book as many cancellation tickets become available the day before or on the day of the visit) ✅Photo Zones ▪️Daffodils - On the way to moving from the 1st to the 2nd platform (there is a photo zone full of daffodils, but it's almost impossible to take pictures if you don't come early in the morning due to the crowd..) ▪️Cherry Blossoms - 2nd section platform (It's the prettiest to take pictures at the 2nd section platform or ride the monorail from the 1st to the 2nd section! All the videos in my reels were taken at the 2nd platform!) ✅Tips ▪️Parking - Search for 'Hwadam Forest Slope Parking Lot'! If you search for Hwadam Forest parking lot, you'll have to walk for at least 15 minutes.. ▪️Entrance Time - Based on the entrance ticket, you can enter about 30 minutes before the entrance time and you can still enter even after the entrance time has passed ▪️Duration - It takes about 2-3 hours to walk around once ▪️Monorail On-site Ticketing - Only those who have booked online can ride the monorail from the 1st to the 2nd section. From the 2nd section, on-site ticketing for the monorail is also available. #koreatrip I highly recommend visiting this botanic garden during the autumn season; it's truly worth it. While the monorail offers a view, I'm not sure it's as enjoyable as the walk, and keep in mind there's a separate ticket required, which should be booked in advance. Personally, I preferred the walk for the best views and vibrant autumn colors. I also took the public transport to reach Hwadamsup which was pretty smooth.

Located in Gwangju, Gyeonggi-do, Hwadam Forest is a stunning place to enjoy autumn foliage and take a leisurely stroll. Although it is a paid entry, if you can just make a reservation, it might be one of the best places in the country to enjoy the autumn foliage and take the photo of a lifetime in the fall✨️. There is an aquarium that only houses freshwater fish, and there are places where various insects gather, so there's a lot to see besides the forest😀 It's a bit far from the downtown Seoul, but if you manage to make a reservation, I highly recommend you visit at least once!💕

#koreatrip It is an eco-friendly arboretum located in Gwangju, which is filled with multiple Botanical gardens. It feels very pleasant with rich greenery here. There are some on-site restaurants where you can have a meal of your choice. This is actually a skii park where you can enjoy this sport in winters. There are multiple slopes from beginner to expert levels. In other seasons it is open for fun activities such as luge ride. The luge rode here feels thrilling, don't miss it. If you want to cover the outline of this mountain garden you can take the monorail (1 way preferred), the other way you can walk down enjoying the gardens. This place is the best to visit during autumn where you can witness all the bright colours. Good to visit with friends & family and spend a peaceful weekend.

The interior space, with its wood-tone interior that matches well with Hwadam Forest, features unique pine pillars as part of the decor, and they also sell a variety of bakeries and accessory goods shops. The season of fall is always attractive with the scenery of various colours of trees changing colours. Hwadam forest at Gyeonggi-do province always fascinates visitors with the abundance of maple trees full with fiery red and orange colours. As the hill is full of slopes and small hills one can also opt to stroll via monorail especially for elderly visitors. There are also restaurants serving scallion pancakes and traditional tea house for visitors to rest after a tired stroll. Best time to visit is end October to Early November but one can only book their tickets online due to limited entrees. Tickets are usually available during weekdays but are likely to sold out during weekend. #autumnleaves
