When I climb the return pass on the way from the rest house with the parking lot to the summit of Mt. Hachimantai, I don't feel anything, but I thought that the pass that I would look back when I went around the Hachimanuma Marsh from the summit was true.

Return Pass The pass is on the way down from the summit of Mt. Hachimantai to the rest house with a parking lot, but it is a fork in the hike.
It is the prefectural border between Akita and Iwate. From here, you can enter the mountain trail of Hachimantai. It was suitable for the name and had a great view.
Blessed with wonderful weather, I enjoyed the mountains 々 in both Akita and Iwate prefectures. On the Akita Prefecture side, I could see Mt. Chokai far south, and I could identify Mt. Waga, Mt. Akita Komagake at noon along the prefectural border, Mt. Moriyoshi, Mt. Ohira on the west side, and the Oga Peninsula. On the Iwate prefecture side, I could see Mt. Iwate right next door and Mt. Hayaike on the southeast side. When I came before, I was able to identify Mt. Tsukiyama in Yamagata Prefecture.
It is the border between Akita and Iwate prefectures on the Aspite Line.

I parked my car in the parking lot along the Aspite Line under Mt. Chausu and trekked to Mt. Chausu → Gentamori → Hachimantai Top → Miwatari Pass. There is a mountaintop restaurant here and there is also a large parking lot. Buses also go to Akita and Morioka. The scenery was also good, and on this day I could see the magnificent Mt. Iwate, Mt. Hayake, Mt. Akita, Mt. Chokai, etc. in front of me.
Go up the Hachimantai Aspite Line, there is a Migai Pass parking lot and a mountaintop rest house on the border of Akita Prefecture, and you can have a good view and overlook the Uraiwate mountain range from Mt. Iwate. There is an observatory on the Migai Pass ridgeline, and you can overlook not only Mt. Iwate, but also Mt. Hayaike and Mt. Akita Komagatake. Near the top, there was a traffic jam of cars waiting for the parking lot. I was told to see it for the first time in a group of college students 。 (^^;
