The Hainan Provincial Museum has a rich collection of cultural relics and auxiliary exhibits. The collection reflects the history, culture, natural landscape and human heritage of Hainan, and has reached 25,287 pieces (sets). Of these, 1,424 pieces (sets) are particularly valuable. These exhibits are not only old, but also have extremely high artistic, historical and cultural value. Hainan Provincial Museum has 20 exhibition halls, the largest of which is 1200 square meters, and the smallest of which is nearly 230 square meters. These exhibition halls showcase various aspects of Hainan's history, culture, natural landscape and human heritage. At the same time, the museum also has a nearly 270-seat academic report hall, which provides a good place for academic research and exchange. The architecture of Hainan Provincial Museum is also quite distinctive, composed of the first and second phases of buildings, covering an area of more than 60 mu, the building height is 25 meters, the construction area is nearly 43,000 square meters, and the ground floor is 3 floors. The exhibitions of the Hainan Provincial Museum are not rich enough, with Su Dongpo as the theme, the content is a bit less, and the highlights are not enough. The exhibition halls of agar and yellow pear are more special, but the content is still relatively thin. The original shipwreck moved to the South China Sea Museum, so there were fewer exhibits. I always feel that the exhibits like a provincial museum are really a little interesting.
