Hanoi me baby one more time!
Hanoi, the bustling capital of Vietnam, offers a captivating blend of ancient charm and modern energy. Navigating its vibrant streets, you're greeted by a sensory overload of sights, sounds, and smells. The Old Quarter, with its narrow lanes and colonial architecture, is a treasure trove of history and culture. Wandering through its maze-like alleys, you'll stumble upon traditional markets, Buddhist temples, and lively street vendors selling everything from steaming pho to colorful silk lanterns.
A visit to Hoan Kiem Lake provides a tranquil respite from the chaos of the city. Here, you can observe locals practicing tai chi at dawn or simply sit and watch as life unfolds around you. Don't miss the chance to witness a water puppet show, a unique art form dating back centuries, which brings Vietnamese folklore to life in a mesmerizing display of skill and creativity.
Venturing beyond the city limits, you'll discover the serene beauty of the surrounding countryside. Take a boat cruise along the Red River or explore the ancient pagodas of Ninh Binh Province, known as the "Halong Bay on land." Whether you're indulging in mouthwatering street food, bargaining at bustling markets, or immersing yourself in centuries-old traditions, a trip to Hanoi promises an unforgettable adventure that will leave you longing to return.
very convenient place to live when visiting Hanoi. You can find anything you need within walking distance to hotels. Good spot for tours to pick up. Stores, cafes and restaurants close late too.

This is the other side of the city. most of the buildings here are from the colonists era and people's lifestyle here is more on traditional way. the streets are busy and you can buy souvenirs at a cheaper price.
tranquility of the capital on the 1st of the new year. though it is a day off for many, people don't really celebrate it.
