is a 25 minute drive from downtown Big Bear. Low clearance vehicles should not have any problem reaching the Lake, but will not be able to continue to Champion Lodge Pole Pine (An SUV will be needed past Bluff Lake). Visited with my father (age 72), my wife, and my 2 boys (age 3 & 1). Beautiful lake. Surprised to see a chimney still standing from a log home that burned down years ago on the north side of the lake. Many log cabin structures still stand around the lake. Excellent place for a picnic. This lake has been used in 2 major motion pictures due to its unique beauty. Budget 90 minutes total to drive and visit the lake.
