Heyuan Dinosaur Cultural and Museum Park is a cultural park integrating Heyuan City Museum, Heyuan Dinosaur Museum and Guifeng Tower. The museum is located in Guifeng Park on Binjiang Avenue in Heyuan City, adjacent to Heyuan City Museum, and to the north of Guifeng Mountain. On the mountain are the Guifeng Tower of the Song Dynasty and the Guifeng Ancient Temple of the Ming Dynasty, both of which are national key cultural relics protection units. Around the foot of the mountain, there are large-scale fantasy dinosaur sculpture walls with a main body height of 48 meters, a total length of 338 meters, and a total span of 800 meters, as well as 9-meter-high dinosaur main sculptures and 10 groups of steel dinosaur creative sculptures. The museum was officially opened to the public on November 26, 2010, with a construction area of ​​8,300 square meters and an exhibition area of ​​3,100 square meters. With dinosaurs as the theme, it mainly exhibits more than 17,000 dinosaur egg fossils of various types, more than 10 dinosaur bone fossils, and many dinosaur footprint fossil models that have won the Guinness World Records, reflecting the rich dinosaur fossil resources of Heyuan City as the "Hometown of Chinese Dinosaurs".
