Little shrine far from the touristic area
Hyotan-Yama is still in Osaka, but close to Nara prefecture. I stayed there for about 1 or 2 months at a friends place, and so, I was passing through this shrine bearly every day. There are differen...
The deity is Wakaukanomai no Mikoto (Hoshiki Omikami). It is the head office of Tsuji Zan in the self-proclaimed Miinari. A building is built along Mt. Tsuji, an old burial mound. There is no scale to be described along with Fushimi Inari and Toyokawa Inari. It seems that there is a history that Hideyoshi solicited when constructing Osaka Castle. There are many Setsusha Sumasha and shrines in the narrow precincts. It is also the place name and the station name, but there is no particular guide at the station, so it seems better to check the location in advance when visiting by train ...
It is also said to be the three major Inari shrines in Japan.
Original Text
It is located in front of Kashiyama Station on the Kintetsu Train. There is a building attached to the burial mound of Kashiyama Kofun. It seems that he became called Kashiyama because it resembles a Kashiyama in a twin burial mound. It is a long history that Toyotomi Hideyoshi solicited Fukube Inari from Fushimi Castle as a guardian deity to the cherry blossoms when he built Osaka Castle. It is located at Tsuji Zenso Headquarters.
