Picnic and falls
When in full winter flow these falls are well worth a drive. One witnesses prestine countryside and there is a comfortable pathway to the falls. There is a nice picnic spot close with a shelter. The o...
A lovely spot to relax, bush walk or have a picnic. Well worth the drive to this beautiful area. The waterfall after spring rains is quite spectacular.
I would recommend going when it’s been raining recently. The falls were peaceful to watch. There’s a picnic bench where you can have some lunch and enjoy a small stream.
While there was a decent amount of water going over the falls, two nearly dead trees blocked the view. Whoever looks after the area needs to do a bit of work to make the view more appealing.
Just a twenty minute drive towards Adelaide from port Elliot. Fairly easy drive. Last km or so on unsealed road. Small car park. About 200 metre walk down a stepped path with rails. Not suitable for w...
