The Yokoana Kofun tumulus group from the Kofun period to the Nara period is said to be over 300 in total, which is divided into three areas. It was a place where the surrounding paddy fields felt as if they were there for a long time, reminiscent of ancient scenery.

This is one of the largest horizontal tombs in eastern Japan, with over 500 horizontal holes over about 1 km. 3 It consists of one district and is mainly part of the Kande branch group, which is a historic site designated by the prefecture.
