The White Pagoda of Shuanghe‘er Mountain

The Shuangheer Mountain White Pagoda is located on the Shuangheer Mountain in Agula Sumu, Horqin Left Back Banner. The tower is a masonry structure with a total height of 13 meters, and its shape is similar to the White Tower of Beihai Park in Beijing. The tower consists of three parts: tower base, tower base and tower body. The tower base is made of masonry, 2 meters high, square, and each side is 9.1 meters long. There are 2 meters wide steps on the north and south sides, with 9 floors in the south and 7 floors in the north. The tower base is polygonal in shape and made of blue square bricks. There are brick carvings of wishful patterns and auspicious knots on all sides, and crouch-shaped little lions are carved on both sides. The tower is divided into three parts: the tower bottom, the tower belly, and the tower bottom. The tower bottom is cylindrical and has three floors. The tower belly is in the shape of an urn. The belly of the pagoda is divided into 7 layers, and the ashes of the living Buddha are in it. The top of the tower is in the shape of a cast-iron golden front with Buddhist patterns on it. Four small copper bells hang under the umbrella on the top of the tower. The tower column is built with the main core of sandalwood.
