湘西挂壁公路位于湖南省湘西花垣县的排碧乡。挂壁公路是在峭壁（悬崖和高峻大山）上开凿而出的奇险公路。挂壁公路多贴壁而凿，相隔十余米旁开一侧窗。如果车技不好，建议不要开车进入，因为洞内非常狭窄，刚刚只能容下一台车的宽距，同时拐弯需特别小心车子挂到石壁上，不开车进去可以把车停在门口，直接步行进入。开车进去的朋友，里面有停车场，大概可以同时容纳10多台车，所谓的停车场无非就是个比较大的溶洞，全部停在那里。可以去体验一下！
