Town God's Temple

The City God Temple is located on the west side of the ancient city of Pinghai. All were demolished during the "Cultural Revolution". In the late 1980s, it was rebuilt with donations from local people and Hong Kong compatriots. The temple construction area of 430 square meters. In front of the temple, there is the City God Cannon Tower, and on the right side is the City God Pavilion, which is 6 meters high and has a three-story structure. In the front right corner there is a stage and an open-air plaza that can accommodate 2,000 people. The City God Temple is beautifully built, and the eaves of each floor are sculpted with lifelike historical figures and stories. From the temple gate to the eaves, statues, desks, couplets, inscriptions, sculptures, etc., all retain the artistic characteristics of ancient architecture, and their texts and paintings run through the awareness of exhorting people to exorcise evil and follow good.
