This was part of our tour and it had fabulous views of the western side of the island. It also had clean bathrooms. Definitely worth a stop if touring the island.
I went to April 2019. It is an observatory on a cliff overlooking the rough 々 sea below. It's on the other side of the harbor, so I think it takes a little physical strength to ride a bicycle. A spring water is springing from under the cliff, and it is still used as drinking water. In the past, he used to go to the bottom to get water, so I think it was difficult.
I went by bicycle from the hotel. I could go around the island slowly by bicycle, so I stopped by the Boiling Observatory on the way. The view from there was very nice.
Best Photographer Spot
This spot is probably the best one to take pictures of the ocean views and the rest of the island outside of Gusuku Mountain.
Cliff overlook of the East China Sea
One of the best viewpoints along the islands west coast. Popular with tourists and can be somewhat crowded.
Gorgeous views of the western side of the island.
