Ihlara Valley

The Grand Canyon is a very famous attraction on the Green Line. It takes about 3 hours to walk down, but it is relatively dry here. It is about to get to the exit. Some restaurants are very distinctive and taste good.

伊赫拉拉峡谷（又称The Ihlara Valley，“曾用名”为Peristrema）在格雷梅西北部120公里处，这里并非什么著名的景点，它的壮阔与震撼，也无法和东非大裂谷以及美国的科罗拉多大峡谷相提并列，但是却有自己独特的地方。峡谷是拜占庭时期僧侣最喜欢的隐修地之一，留下了很多彩绘的石窟教堂。经过360级陡峭的台阶进入峡谷，可以顺着Melendiz Suyu溪流向前走，如果去的时候正值盛夏，山谷里草木繁盛，鸟声婉转，沿途还有很多教堂可以参观，全然没有徒步的仓促感。

厄赫拉热峡谷是格雷梅火山灰平原上的难得出现的一线绿洲。陡峭的悬崖，清澈的溪水，和丰富的绿色植被，从景色来说实在是没什么过人之处。但峡谷的峭壁上分布着无数的岩窟教堂，却是国内绝对不会找到的。但由于种种历史原因，教堂上精美的壁画被破坏，实在非常的可惜。
