Lovely park, surprisingly large, nice diversion off the bike way. There was not much flowering in September.

If you're into roses (my wife is a big fan) then this is a treat. The variety was impressive and we saw hybrids and colors we didn't know existed. Also, its worth trying some of the rose-flavored soft...

This is just an artificial garden, with a few planted roses, and pretty small. We just wandered there to take a look and were disappointed, so we took just a short walk, browsed the icecream parlors a...

I visited in the second half of Golden Week. The roses are not in bloom, but I enjoyed watching some of the roses that were in bloom. There was a soft serve ice cream shop nearby.
