There's a locomotive.
Original Text
It is a museum that opens only on the first Sunday. It's only one day a month, so it's difficult to match the timing. Even on closed days, you can see the locomotives parked outside nearby.
Immediately from Niigawa Station. The only museum specializing in railway freight in Japan. Open only on the first Sunday of every month. Admission is free. Since it was not the opening day of the museum, the shutter in the exhibition room was dropped, but the vehicles exhibited outdoors were free to visit.
Cargo-related materials exhibition There are various and freight car parts exhibitions, and all of them are rare materials specializing in cargo. 2 I have never seen a freight vehicle in a large conductor room for passenger service.
Be careful because it is only open several times a month, but you can see steam locomotives and railway freight in front of you. Since the station is closer, cute narrow gauge trains pass often.

There was a free shuttle bus by privately owned bus between Ashitaki Station (Light Railway Museum), which was very helpful.
