It is located one step away from the old main street. I came close by repairing the clock, so I parked my car there and looked at it. The precincts are very small and you will be caught when there is an event. However, you can enjoy taking a closer look at the fineness of wood carvings and the zodiac carvings of block ridges. It has been a shrine since the Kamakura period, but the current hall of worship was built in 1935 (Showa 10). Before the war, there was a factory of Nakajima Airplane that made fighters such as Zero Battle in this city, and employees often visit this shrine, so it seems that it became a shrine that prays for aviation safety. In the first city held every year on 1 month 9, an event to bake a huge baked bun is held at this shrine.
There is a large wooden propeller at the top of the front entrance of the hall of worship. This is said to have been dedicated by employees of Nakajima Airplane, the predecessor of SUBARU, to pray for aviation safety and travel safety so that the plane will return safely from the war.
When you park your car in the parking lot, you will see a stone gate pillar carved with "Kakesha". If you enter from there, you will see the magnificent hall of worship, Chozuya, and Kagura hall, although it is not a large precinct. The main shrine behind was very well sculpted. It seems that the feature is that a large propeller is displayed on the top of the hall of worship. It looks like a shrine loved by the citizens of Isesaki City, and I went on to visit and worshiped.
It is a large shrine in Isesaki City. The large propeller in the precincts is from the Nakajima Airplane that was near here during the Pacific War, and it seems that it prayed that the plane that went to the battle would return safely.
